Valerie opened her CPA firm in 2006 with the intention to focus on the needs of small businesses and their owners. As a small business owner herself, Valerie understands the problems small businesses face, not only with accounting, but with business in general. She knows the value of working hard and minimizing costs.
Valerie began her career in public accounting in 1993, when she was employed with a small, CPA sole practitioner in Bismarck, North Dakota. She graduated from Bismarck State College in 1994, with an Associate in Applied Science in Business Management. Valerie furthered her education at the University of North Dakota, graduating cum laude in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a concentration in Accounting. Throughout college, Valerie managed a full load of classes while also working full-time to support herself and her pursuit of education.
Prior to opening her own practice, Valerie was an accountant for ten years at Fiebiger, Swanson, West and Co., in Fargo, North Dakota. She has worked in all areas of public accounting including business and individual taxation, payroll, bookkeeping and auditing. She has extensive experience with accounting and taxation of the construction industry.
Valerie is a licensed CPA in the states of North Dakota and Minnesota. She is a member of North Dakota Society of CPAs and American Institute of CPAs.

Christin Berger
Administrative Assistant
In addition to providing customer service and administrative support, Christin performs general clerical duties including tax return processing, data entry, filing, and scheduling. She graduated in 2014 from NDSU with a Bachelor of Science in Equine Studies. Christin has a diverse customer service background and maintains a second job as an assistant horse trainer and riding instructor in West Fargo.
